Doubt lingers.
Hope subsides.
Smile fades.

I long to dance.
Dance with someone
I looked around
Place empty
Scares me silly

So quiet.
No sound
but mine

Wonder how long
will I wait
till I can smile
again

Till Hope peeks in
or Doubt leaves me
